Product Description

Intended use

The Beckman Coulter Barbiturates reagent is a system reagent intended for the qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of barbiturates in human urine on Beckman Coulter AU / Olympus AU series clinical chemistry analyzers. The assay provides only a preliminary analytical test result. A more specific alternate chemical method must be used to obtain a confirmed analytical result; gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred confirmatory method.

Stable until the expiration date printed on the label when stored as directed; on-board and opened-bottle stability are as stated in the package insert. COLD CHAIN: YES - ships refrigerated (2-8 C) with gel packs.

Regulatory status

For In Vitro Diagnostic Use. For prescription / professional laboratory use only. Manufactured by Beckman Coulter, Inc. This assay provides only a preliminary analytical test result; clinical consideration and professional judgement must be applied to any drugs-of-abuse test result.
