Latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetric assay where Cystatin C binds anti-Cystatin C antibody-coated latex particles; agglutination proportional to Cystatin C. Sensitivity 0.068 mg/L, linear 0.2–8.0 mg/L, CV <5%. Intended for in vitro quantitative determination of Cystatin C in human serum/plasma on automated chemistry analyzers as an aid in diagnosis/treatment of renal disease and GFR estimation.
